Mr. Authur Bowie
Mr. Authur T. Bowie of Frederick, 64, died Monday, Dec. 15, at College View Nursing Home.
Born July 27, 1939, in Frederick, he was the son of the late Austin T. Bowie and Nellie Weedon Bowie.
He graduated from Lincoln High School, Frederick.
He joined the U.S. Army after graduating.
He is survived by one daughter, Michelle Lane; one grandson, Jordan Lane of Colorado; three brothers, Francis Bowie of Frederick, Wright Bowie of Baltimore, Reginald Bowie and wife Christine of Frederick; one sister-in-law, Esther Bowie of Frederick; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Doris Snowden, Mary Lyles and Joann Bowie; and one brother, Nolan T. Bowie.
Friends may visit from noon until time of services at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, at Rollins Funeral Home, 110 W. South St., Frederick. Pastor Roger Rollins will officiate.
Internment will be private.
